Thinking back on the true colors activity was very interesting to see how we all have different personalities and how this influence our teaching. Also to have in mind that our students fit into this categories and us as a teachers we need to find the correct way to approache our groups according to their needs and the way they learn. I think that the best would be to mix the different styles.

So...today, when I told you we had a "situation"....it was partly due to faculty / staff having different colors. Some of us are gold / blue and like predictable schedules. Others are orange (as you know...but I am not the only one) and like to change things at the last minute. This difference creates tension and stress in our offices....what some people strive for, others tear down...and today was one of those days for a few colleagues. (This of course I can tell you because you're leaving tomorrow.... but also, I tell you because it doesn't just affect you and your students - but also you and your colleagues.)
